HELLO

The Nansen Tutu Center school on Ocean, Climate and Marine Ecosystem will focus on Agulhas Current, the Benguela upwelling system and the Tropical Atlantic and it will deal with field observations, remote sensing and modelling. It fits in with the new CLIVAR Research Focus:  Marine Biophysical Interactions and Dynamics of Upwelling Systems. It  will be held at University of Cape Town from Monday 1 to Monday 8 of December 2014. 30 students from Europe, Africa and Indian Ocean Islands will attend lectures given by African and European scientists.  Social activities will be plentiful to facilitate interaction between students and scientists. Accomodation is booked from Sunday 30 to Tuesday 9.
